Create your own Everyday Life binder tabs using Artbooking

I love our Everyday Life albums! These not-so-mini Mini Albums would make Goldilocks happy: not to small and not too big.

Currently, you have two choices: Black & White Stripes or Sea Glass. (In August, a new color Bashful will be introduced!)

These versatile two-ring albums can become whatever you want them to be. Want to make a pint size photo album? Fill your binder with the 4″x6″ Memory Protectors (2 photos per side) and just slide your printed pictures in. Would you rather mix it up by alternating with journaling and titles? Fill some of the photo wells with 4×6 Picture My Life Cards. Add some 3″x4″ Memory Protectors to mix it up even more. 

Another option is to fill the album with full size 6″x8″ Memory Protectors and fill them with down sized scrapbook layouts. There are Memory Protector designs that you can mix and match throughout your book: 3″x4″, 4″x6″ and 6″x8″.

Of course you can also use the binder as a planner. Either purchase the calendar pages from us (currently deeply discounted!) or create your own. There are so many great printables available on the internet.

Members of my Close To My Heart team are using the Everyday Life album as “business binders”. We are setting up sections to hold information about contacts, events, goals and more.

In fact, you can embrace your creativity and combine all of these ideas to create exactly what you want. Regardless of what you create with your Everyday Life Album, adding a few tabs can help you keep your pages organized.

Unpacking the 2017 Planner — you’re going to want one!

Today, I’d like to take a closer look at our planner. I have mine and can’t believe how much FUN it is while also being FUNctional! At first glance, you’ll notice the fun monthly themed coloring pages and you’ll understand how FUN it is. However, if you take a closer look you will also see that it is really quite practical if you want to get organized.

When you open your 2017 planner, you will find:

  • A sturdy binder: keep all your papers secure and protected.
  • Customizable 3-ring design: Carry just the months you currently need with you. This also allows you to transition from your 2016 calendar gradually! Have additional information you’d like in your planner? Simply print, punch holes and add to your planner!
  • Zipper pouch with pen loop: Fill with stamps, business cards, a pencil or pen and any other small items you’d like to have handy.
  • Journaling page: Each month starts with a page for your notes.
  • Tab dividers: Find the month easily with the heavy cardstock tabbed divider pages.
  • Monthly calendars: See the entire month at a glance so you are always on top of upcoming activities. There is also a space for notes and thumbnail view of the past and coming months.
  • Weekly spread: Plan your days in detail. There’s plenty of room in each day’s section for your events and to do lists. There is also a thumbnail view of the current month.
  • Notes Page: Each month ends with a ruled page ready for you to write.
  • Three gold paper clips: Mark the current week or any other important sections in your planner.

Besides all these practical features, it is the prettiest planner I’ve ever seen. It starts with your choice of a soft Sea Glass or bold Black and White binder.

Inside, you’ll find monthly divider pages with unique “adult-coloring” style images with lots of fun detail to color.

Since these pages are heavy, you can choose to use watercolor or markers without fear of the color bleeding through. On the reverse side of the divider is an encouraging sentiment to start the month with. The monthly journaling page includes a partial copy of the coloring graphics. Throughout you will find lots of extra space for doodling, stamping and journaling.
