Hello! I’m Rebecca and as you have probably already figured out, I love getting crafty. I live in Arnold, MO (just south of St. Louis) with my husband of over 25 years and our spoiled pup, Calla. I’m also Mom to our daughter who is busy with her college studies.
I have always loved crafts as a hobby. However, for most of my adult life, my occupations relied more on my left side of my brain as an actuary and math teacher. During that time, I had periods where life was so busy that I didn’t have any time to create. But I learned that I am happier and healthier when I carve out time to “get my craft on”
Don’t wait for life to slow down; It will not without some effort on your part.
In November 2010, I ordered the Close To My Heart consultant kit online with the purposse of getting great deal on the beautiful scrapbooking paper. Just before Thanksgiving, I got my box of crafty goodies in the box. I spent the holiday creating and learning. I discovered the thrill of stamping and other fun techniques. I was HOOKED!
I couldn’t wait to share it with others and started sharing my creations on this blog and scheduled monthly scrapbook nights with my friends. Since then my business has grown, but my focus remains on encouraging people to make time for creating and learning new things.
My goal with this website is to inspire you to make a date with your craft supplies!
