Highlight Reel stamp set is here in July — just $5 with qualifying purchase!

I’ve mentioned before that our Stamps of the Month generally are versatile. They have images and sentiments that can be appreciated by scrapbookers as well as card-makers. This month’s stamp, Highlight Reel, is no exception.

Because of the scale of these images, this one really lends itself to mini-albums. The album, created by the Close To My Heart artists, is a great example of what you can do with a few sheets of paper, ink pads and this stamp set. The smaller images allows the miniature pages in the album to have plenty of room for photos.

One great thing about mini-albums like this is that you can create one in a single setting. Once you’ve gathered your supplies and photos, you can assemble it fairly quickly. So no guilt of having an unfinished project waiting for you. So carve out some time to create this week! Trust me, your week will go so much better.

Get ready for 2018 with the Through The Year Calendar Kit

With this kit, you can make a custom 12-month photo wall calendar! The exclusive Through the Year calendar is a great way to “scrap” your year as you live it.

At the end of the year, simply cut off the binding and you will have twelve beautiful 12″ x 12″ scrapbook pages ready to go in your album. Make one for yourself and another for a gift. As you can see in this blow up of a completed calendar, the month names and coordinating images on this stamp set are the perfect size to fit in the space allowed on the calendar. Additional images on the stamp set will help you mark birthdays and other special days.

Additional Items to complete your Calendar

When you order your kit, be sure to add a numerical stamp set so you can fill in the dates. The sample calendar above uses Jennifer’s Hand (B1484).

To recreate the soft grey stamping in the sample, you will also want the Heather Ink Pad.

To complete your kit, you will also need a paper trimmer, scissors and adhesives. In addition to a tape runner, I used a Bonding Memories glue pen to adhere the more intricate die-cuts. You may also want to pop some elements up with 3D foam tape for dimension.

Unpacking the 2017 Planner — you’re going to want one!

Today, I’d like to take a closer look at our planner. I have mine and can’t believe how much FUN it is while also being FUNctional! At first glance, you’ll notice the fun monthly themed coloring pages and you’ll understand how FUN it is. However, if you take a closer look you will also see that it is really quite practical if you want to get organized.

When you open your 2017 planner, you will find:

  • A sturdy binder: keep all your papers secure and protected.
  • Customizable 3-ring design: Carry just the months you currently need with you. This also allows you to transition from your 2016 calendar gradually! Have additional information you’d like in your planner? Simply print, punch holes and add to your planner!
  • Zipper pouch with pen loop: Fill with stamps, business cards, a pencil or pen and any other small items you’d like to have handy.
