Artbooking, Artistry & You Are Here Physical Cricut Cartridges Still Available!

If you have an Expression or other older Cricut machine that does not use Design Space, you probably know that Cricut no longer makes Cricut cartridges. This means that as the inventory in our warehouse is depleted, you will no longer be able to purchase the physical cartridges. It is getting harder and harder to find cartridges to use in these machines. For that reason, you are when you find a cartridge you want to own, you need to buy it while you can!

This
collection includes a trendy “filled” font with upper and lower. Plus it has lots of images including basic shapes, overlays, banners,
titles & more. The included stamp sets include lots of great sentiments that work for both cards and scrapbook pages.

Here

This
collection includes two fonts that can be used alone or together for layered letters. The images cover all the places that you may travel — both physical destinations and places in life.  It includes iconic buildings and monuments from around the world, badges for several US National Parks and so much more.

Artbooking

The Artbooking collection is a favorite for Scrapbookers. It includes complete layouts and
mini albums designed to let you select the size once and cut everything proportionally. As you look at the images below, you can see the completed project in the top row with some of the elements shown below. Stamp sets create coordinating embellishments, journaling spots and sentiments.

Home Crafty Home — free download instructions for this new DIY home decor kit!

Our new Home DIY Decor workshop gives you the materials and instructions to make this cheery piece for your mantel, shelf or cabinet top! The kit uses our chipboard monogram letters, So Much Happy paper and puffy stickers and shapes cut using the Artistry Cricut collection.

Let’s take a look at what’s included in the kit. 

First you’ll get 11.5″ tall chipboard letters H, M and E. You’ll also get a special pack of paper which includes 6 sheets of the  So Much Happy patterned paper plus 5 sheets of cardstock (3 peach, 1 sapphire & 1 white) and finally, you’ll get a pack of So Much Happy Puffy Stickers.

Note that to complete the house-shaped “O” as shown, you’ll need to an Explore or Maker Cricut machine and the Artistry Collection. If you like knowing exactly how to recreate a project step-by-step, you will love how thorough our directions are. However, if you have a more creative bend and enjoy making projects truly your own, use the directions for inspiration and let your imagination go wild. 

A few things you may want to consider: 

  • Think of a word that would be more meaningful to you or your family. Buy the letters you need but use this guide for inspiration for decorating and connecting them.
  • Choose a different paper pack to better fit your decor. Order the letters, paper pack and coordinating embellishments separately and use this printable guide for inspiration.
  • Add photos on the blank letter to make a more personal decor piece.

Simple Card Making using Framed and Artistry

I love simple and that is what you get with the August Stamp of the Month, Framed, and the new Artistry Cricut cartridge. Seriously, these are the fastest cards ever! Bonus: they also turned out super cute!

Each of these cards were made from left over paper and embellishments from the Zoe Workshop on the Go (see list below). The sentiments are from the August Stamp of the Month, Framed. (Available only this month for just $5 with your $50 order!)

No fussy cutting here! Each of the frames on this stamp set are on the new Artistry Cricut cartridge (link for digital version).

Once you have cut out the image, you can stamp the frame in one color…

 …and the sentiment in another!

I cut and stamped a bunch of the frames to give me lots of options as I put together the cards.

Here’s a couple more cards:

The card above has absolutely NO EMBELLISHMENTS, yet it looks complete because of the beautiful Zoe paper, layering and two-toned stamping.

Love this last card! I literally took my scraps and trimmed them down to 5.5″ or 4.25″ and pieced them onto the card. EASY PEAZY!

It’s A Tea Party! Use Artistry to customize your layouts

I’ve finally had some time to play with the new Artistry Cricut cartridge and made this sweet layout using the Zoe papers and Complements pack.

It seems like only yesterday! I found my daughter in her room having a tea party with her stuffed animals. It was so fun listening to her talking to them as she poured. She had such an imagination. I’m glad I grabbed the camera to capture this everyday moment.

The new Zoe paper is so soft and sweet. The new complements packs have a variety of materials like chipboard, stickers and vellum. They are generally smaller in size like these cute little flowers.

The teapot and cups are two of the new icons on the Artistry cartridge. “The Little Things” ribbon was also cut using the cartridge and stamped with one of the sets that comes with it.

I am seeing so much potential for this cartridge. It has 700 images and comes with three stamp sets plus a pack of bright cardstock.

Save Time with these Zoe Design Space Files

Today, I am putting together the brand new Zoe Workshop On The Go. Since I’m cutting the pieces out with my Cricut Explore, I thought I’d share the files with you!

I love using the Close To My Heart Workshops On The Go programs to create beautiful pages. Each one comes with all the paper, embellishments, stamp set plus an instructional guide to make two layouts. You will have supplies left over for another project or two.

The Zoe workshop uses several shapes that are cut from the Artistry Cricut cartridge. I have pulled these into Design Space, sized them based on the instructions and saved the file. If you have a Cricut Explore, you can click on the link below to access the file to cut out pieces for your layout.

I arranged the images on a gray two page scrapbook canvas similar to how they will go on your layout, including the ones that are layered. You may need to zoom out a bit to see everything on your screen.

The colors of paper used are Glacier, Slate, Sorbet and White Daisy. 

Remember you will only be able to cut this file if you have the Artistry cartridge linked to your Design Space account. You can buy both the Artistry cartridge and the Zoe Workshop On The Go on my Close To My Heart website. Please let me know if you have any questions about these products.
