National Scrapbooking Month Enhanced Pages

Earlier today, I shared photos of the five layouts in the Live Beautifully Cut Above workshop (Option 2) that you can create at the National Scrapbooking Month celebration I’m hosting on May 6. You can also choose to create the four “enhanced” layouts shown below (Option 3).



NOTE: Because I need to order supplies, the deadline to sign up for these workshops is tomorrow!

The first three layouts were designed and generously shared by fellow consultant, Karen Pedersen. I created the final layout using the remaining pieces of the kit.

Under this option, you will receive a complete pack of Live Beautifully paper (16 sheets) and the You and Me Complements pack. To complete the workshop, you’ll follow detailed directions to cut your papers, stamp and assemble the pages.

The best deal of the day is to sign up to make a Complete Album (Option 1). Under this option, you will receive both the Cut Above and Enhanced Layout Kits. In addition, you will receive another kit for two additional pages (title & closing), a pack of 10 Memory Protectors, a journaling pen, tape runner plus an album to put it all in. Bring your pictures and you’ll leave with a completed album!

You can sign up for the National Scrapbooking Day layout workshop on my Events Website. Cboose the option that is best for you. You can also sign up for a Live Beautifully card-making workshop that will be held that morning. When you sign up for both the Card-making and Complete Album workhops, you will receive the Live Beautifully stamp set for free!

National Scrapbooking Month Cut Above Layouts

Recently, I announced the National Scrapbooking Month celebration I’m hosting on May 6. On this day, you’ll have the opportunity to create cards and/or layouts using the beautiful new Live Beautifully collection by Close To My Heart. These products are not available to purchase until May 1, but by signing up for this workshop, you’ll be among the first to work with them!

Today, I wanted to share more about the Live Beautifully Cut Above layouts (Option 2) that you can create at the event. Similar to our other “Cut Above” kits, this five layout (10 page) workshop is a new, easy way to make coordinating layouts to preserve your memories. The kit includes printed base pages, die-cut paper pieces, stickers and gold foil accents.

Here’s a closer look at the five layouts you will make at the workshop:

Can you say “Gorgeous”?

If you have never scrapbooked before, the Live Beautifully Cut Above layout kit is the perfect way to get started! However, if you are an experienced scrapbooker, these beautiful layouts will fit perfectly with your other hand-made layouts. Although they take just a few minutes to assemble, they don’t look like it.

At the May 6 National Scrapbooking Day Celebration, you have the option to sign up to make an additional four layouts with theEnhanced Layout Kit (Option 3). This kit includes the paper and embellishments complete the pages. Although this is a more “advance” workshop, the included directions will walk you step-by-step from cutting the paper, stamping through adding finishing touches. Watch this blog for pictures of these additional pages.

Celebrate Your Beautiful Life during National Scrapbooking Month

May is National Scrapbooking Month and to celebrate, Close To My Heart has created a new collection of paper-crafting products titled “Live Beautifully”. This line features rich floral patterns and gold foil designs. The collection includes a paper pack, exclusive size D (large) stamp set and a Cut Above scrapbooking kit.

Although these lovely items are not available to order until May 1, you can sign up for my National Scrapbooking Month Celebration TODAY! You are invited to a day full of crafty fun at my house on May 6.

CARD WORKSHOP (9 am – noon)

Start the day by making 20 lovely cards using the Live Beautifully papers, stamp set and coordinating embellishments. This set of cards covers birthdays, thank you, friendship and general occasions. The kit includes card bases, envelopes, papers and embellishments. Tools, stamps and ink pads needed to create the cards will also be available for workshop attendees to share. Just bring your basic paper-crafting tools (paper trimmer, bone folder, scissors) and adhesives.

SCRAPBOOK WORKSHOP (1 – 6 pm)

At the afternoon workshop, you have the opportunity to create a complete 20 Live Beautifully page album!

The Complete Album workshop includes three layout kits:

– Cut Above Kit: 5 quick and easy layout (10 pages)

– Enhanced Kit: 4 more involved layout (8 pages)

– Title and closing page kit

In addition, this complete album kit includes album, 10 memory protectors, journaling pen and a tape runner! Bring your pictures and you will leave with a beautiful keepsake of your beautiful life!

While the Complete Album workshop is the best value, you can also choose to make just the Cut Above and/or Enhanced layouts. Regardless of which option you choose, the tools, stamps and ink pads needed to create the cards will also be available for workshop attendees to share. Just bring your basic paper-crafting tools (paper trimmer, scissors) and adhesives.
