Now that the Christmas in July sale is up, I can give you a few more details. In this sale, you’ll see past holiday stamps, papers and embellishments. In addition, there are a lot of Gold & Silver items on sale. You’ll also find some everyday items like CRICUT Cartridges at half price!!!
Some of these are current, but they will only be available while the inventory put aside for the sale lasts. Once gone, they will disappear until the sale is over at 3 pm tomorrow and reappear at regular price. So check it out and get your order in before they are gone!
Love Christmas? Me too — but it is months away. Here in Missouri temperatures topped out in the high 90’s today — that’s very un-Christmas weather! However, it’s a great time to start planning your projects for the coming holiday season. This weekend, we are celebrating Christmas in July with a 24 hour flash sale that started today at 4 pm (CST).
This sale features retired holiday products at discounted prices up to 50% off and ends at 2 pm tomorrow (Saturday, 7/21). In addition, select current items will also be part of the sale. For these items, a certain number has been been set aside for the sale and once these amounts are gone, these items will not longer be available at the discounted prices. So be sure to shop early.
These cards come together really quickly using the beautiful White Pines Picture My Life Cards left over after making the album. I just added a little paper and a few embellishments. Quick, easy, yet lovely.
I know it seems early to start talking about Christmas preparations, but now is actually the best time to do your Christmas projects. In a couple months, time will seem to speed up. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a few handmade cards and a beautiful binder ready so you can focus on making memories?
At the Christmas in July workshop, we will decorate a Christmas notebook and make the first 6 cards of the season. The notebook has a two page spread for each day from December 1 through Christmas. It can be used as a holiday planner, a recipe book, traditions tracker or a photo album — you decide!
The Christmas in July workshop includes the following;
– 3-Ring Kraft Binder
– 25 Everyday Life Memory Protectors (13 with 4″ x 6″ pockets and 12 with 4″ x 3″ pockets)
– White Pines Picture My Life Cards (20 – 4″ x 6 cards and 36 – 4″ x 3″ cards)
– White Pines Complements Pack
– Coordinating solid and printed Picture My Life Cards (37 – 4″ x 6″ and 60 – 4″ x 3″)
– 6″ Box Card and envelope
– 5 Card bases and envelopes
– Paper and embellishments to decorate album and cards
These projects can be completed on your own or at my house on July 24.
Last year, my friend Kathy gave me this adorable pop up box card.
I loved it so much that I’ve had it on my desk for the last six months! In fact, it was the inspiration for this whole workshop and will be the second project we will do. Your workshop kit will include the box card base and all of the materials needed to assemble the card.
I’m so excited about the “Christmas in July” workshopcoming up later this month. This is going to be a really fun collection of projects that will give you an opportunity to get a head start on your Christmas celebrations.
Today, I’d like to give you a preview of the first project — a Christmas notebook. The first project is a Christmas notebook made from our 3-ring kraft notebook and Everyday Life memory protectors. Although these two products were not designed to go together, they are a perfect fit!

The decor of the book comes from the White Pines collection — paper, stickers and Picture My Life cards — plus coordinating twine, gems and ribbon. The binder will have a two-page spread for each day from December 1 – 25, plus a title and closing page.

You can either copy the sample pages I made or design your own. Your kit will include plenty of Picture My Life cards (both White Pines and solid cardstock) to fill the book.

You can use this book as a planner to hold all of your to do and shopping lists. You could also include your holiday menus and decor notes. Use it year after year to keep track of all your traditions.
Alternatively, this book would make a great “picture a day” book to record your holiday memories. Prepare the book now and it will take just a few minutes later to add your pictures and journaling!
