How to Customize Subscription Layouts (Here’s My January – April Pages)

I’m so excited today to show you my layouts that I made with the Craft With Heart kits for January – April. Along the way, I’ll explain a few of the modifications I made. Although these pages come together quickly because of the printed backgrounds, die cut papers and stickers, they are versatile because most of the elements are separate and ready for you to assemble.

You may want to also have my Craft With Heart subscription page open so you can compare mine to the sample layouts. You will see that I resized, rearranged and added photos to my pages. If you love these pages, it is not too late to order. However it will be soon. I’ll explain a little about how the subscription program works later in this post.

January Layouts

For the January layouts, I went way back to my pre-digital photos of my tiny baby girl. The first layout brings back memories of the first couple of days after we brought her home. The photos of our house and her nursery help me remember these special days since we moved several years ago. My changes to this layout are pretty minor. I am not a fan of putting stickers over photos, so you will notice a few of the accent pieces are moved just a bit.

The second January layout is just a few days later when my Mom and sister came to visit. I love seeing how much they loved her from the very beginning. Again, I kept the basic layout the same. My photos were not quite the same size as the sample, but I was able to make the mats work. Some show a bit more than in the sample and others less. I did move the arrows. There was room by the title plus once again, I didn’t want them on top of my photo.

February Layouts

For this layout, I once again went back into ancient history, in fact these are just a few days before the earlier layouts. These are just minutes after our daughter was born. I had too many “can’t leave off” photos, so I rearranged the left side to fit 2 more than the sample.

CTMH Craft with Heart subscription program includes two 2-page layouts each month! These pages are as beautiful as they are simple to assemble. CTMH | scrapbooking |

This layout was perfect for photos of our visitors while at the hospital. I pretty much completely arranged these pages and even cut a few photo mats from white cardstock to make my photos work.

CTMH Subscription program is a great way to get your scrapbooking done fast. Each month, you get a kit to make 4 pages. That's 48 pages each year!

March Layouts

For the March layouts, I jumped forward a few years and documented a trip to Silver Dollar City in Joplin. The cousins had so much fun at this park. This colorful page was perfect for the bright Pooh shirts the girls were wearing. If you compare it to the original, you may notice that I didn’t use the provided title (“lucky me”) and shamrocks which allowed me to add an additional photo.

These photos are the next day at Silver Dollar City again at the petting zoo and school house. I changed this up a lot by cutting individual photo mats and moving the banner. Also, the title was supposed to be “Day by Day”. I trimmed a couple of the letters to make it say “Today” instead which fit my photos better.

April Layouts

Time to time travel again! This time we are going back to my daughter’s first birthday (1 year after the January & February layouts). By the way, her birthday was yesterday and she is now 21! Where did the years go? I did quite a bit of rearranging to make these photos fit, but the basic look of the layout was retained.

This final layout is from just a few years ago. That sweet little baby we started with is all grown up and playing her flute at the state music festival. I’m so proud of all her hard work and this layout captured that sentiment exactly. I used larger photos than the sample and used the included photo mats as corners rather than full frames.

I hope that by sharing my layouts, you can see the versatility of these kits. You get all the pieces, but you can rearrange them to work with your photos and memories. This subscription has helped me find time to do my personal scrapbooking and I love the results!

Since the end of April is very near, if you would like these layouts you need to act fast! If you sign up for the Craft with Heart scrapbooking subscription today, you will have a choice of getting the current kit now or starting with the next one. (By the way, I’ve seen a sneak peek of the May – Aug pages and they are my favorites ever!)

When you enroll, you’ll also have a choice of getting your kits monthly or getting 4 months at once. If you choose the monthly option, the current kit is just the last two for April. However, if you choose the 4 month (or annual pay), your will get all of the kits retroactively back to January! (You will also save on the kits and shipping under the 4 month or annual pay options!) Thank you for letting me share my sweet girl with you! There are so many happy memories but these are some of my favorites.

Keep Creating,

Rebecca
